Super Bowl LIV - Chiefs V 49ers

One of the youngest squads in the league, they will learn plenty from tonight.

Maybe now people will listen. This won’t be Mahomes’ last ring. He will go down as one of, if not the, greatest. He wasn’t great tonight but showed up in incredible fashion, when it mattered. 24 years old. Wow.

He was nervous as fuck but he still kept them in it, without too much help it must be said. He will go down as the GOAT once Rodgers retires, indeed possibly the GOAT of GOATS

And no guys, I don’t have a time machine

Hard to disagree with any of that.

Tyreek handling his destruction of Sherman very politely. Sherman could have been one of the greats if he wasn’t so hell bent on being a gobshite

Great to see talent and attacking coaching winning out at a SB, it’s been a while.

Oiche mhaith guys.

Mahomes is the best ambassor Ireland has ever had in the NFL

Mahomes and Frank Clark stepped up in the fourth quarter, Clark was absolutely immense. Niners in hindsight were too conservative, needed a bigger lead.

Anyway great season, lots to look forward to with that roster.

Such assured speaking from Mahomes at the podium there. Complimenting his coach, the organisation and how this is only a piece of his own puzzle in terms of where he wants to be.

And then Kelce steps up…:man_facepalming:

Kyle Shanahan
Win probability in Falcons vs Pats was as high as 99.6%. Up 28-3 and loses

Win probability in tonight’s game up to 95.3%, up to 20-10 late and loses

He lost the game tonight specifically with his fuck acting at the end of the 2nd Q

I wouldn’t go along with that. That 3rd & 15 completion to Hill, to set up Kelce’s TD broke the 9ers.

End of the 1st half was, at best, questionable in hindsight, but not the reason they lost. Shanahan and Saleh dominated their counterparts for the majority of the game, but were undone by greatness. And it’s not the greatness of his actual plays; what does a defense think when they’re protecting a 2 score lead and 5 minutes on the clock? Not a lot. Do your job. But I believe when Mahomes enters the equatuion, panic and doubt set in. Rodgers had the same effect.

The game was lost on a chunk play 3rd and 15 from the 30 yard line that only the Chiefs are capable of pulling off, nothing Shanahan can do about that, the OPI in Kittle before the half which would have set up a FG, the Chiefs TD call to take the lead, all the one now the deserving team won it . The only play id have any issue with was going deep to Sanders on 3rd and 10 when a 4-5 yard play keeps the 4th down reachable.

Jesus, you really went all in here mate? And i’m not even arsed looking at the 1st half comments. Have you never watched Mahomes before? You picked the wrong quarterback to ejaculate preaturely on.

It was at this point @anon61878697 realised he had made a huge mistake. :joy:

Mahomes calling Coach Reid “Sir” when he was beside him in that interview  Paddy is good, old fashioned, honest to God, Texas.

2 field goals off :see_no_evil:

Mahomes is like jordan speith in golf . He might win another 2 but once hill fucks off for the pay cheque that’s that . The beginning of the end . It is the chiefs . It is Reid coaching. If it was just down to the qb , tom would have 10 -12 SB by now .

:joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy:

Brady would have 12 is it was just down to the QB…

anyway enough about a man who was not involved in last night’s game…

Delighted for Coach Reid… delighted for Mahomes a genuine alright sort… this chiefs team could hang around for a few years…

Mahomes is lucky to have 2 great options in Kelce and Hill… but this is his second year starting… the man is going to dominate
