Super Bowl LV - The triumphant trail to Tampa (Part 1)

Angry? I feel sorry for you

I wouldn’t say most… Texas, Florida, Pittsburgh produce most QBs… All religious enough places. California too obviously but the lads that come out if there could be anything.

anyway, where were we.

Yeah - I’m learning as I’m going. I find a lot of the other podcasts a bit boring. McAfee I can take in small doses because he’s entertaining and can be very funny.

@Thomas_Brady is my go to guy for NFL - he brings a controlled passion
If you don’t mind me saying - your passion is too wild - it touches every franchise and clouds your judgement.

Does anyone else here watch McAffee show? He got in a bit of shit with other NFL media people for giving Rogers a soft interview after the playoff loss.

What?

He forgot Cali in his excitement!

Sorry, I meant Ohio not Pittsburgh.

I didn’t… It’s there. They wouldn’t be god fearing.

What makes them more religious than other areas?

Drew Brees and Tim Tebow were Jesus freaks too.
Ray Lewis was another one

Tebow wasn’t a QB though

Injuns.

Phil Rivers loves Jesus so much he won’t use protection and has to use child cuss words to trash talk.

Tom Brady says a decade of the rosary before every game

No bro, he’s just counting his rings.

The Stafford / Rams deal is very exciting. Who knows, it might work out for both teams but the Rams seem to be gambling that Stafford can take them to a SB with what they have at the moment. Maybe he can do that.

Goff was really very poor this year and I think the Lions will have a tough year results-wise. I have a very high opinion of Stafford and I think he really dug out a few of the Lion’s wins this year just through strength of will. Stafford is a winner but the big concern has to be his injuries. It would be very funny if the Rams traded all this for broken goods.

As for Cousins to the 49ers, he’s an improvement on what they have but not quite the answer. Also, Aiyuk and Deebo are good but it’s not the same as Thielen and Jefferson.

I wonder how the Seahawks will do next season in the NFC West. The big thing they have going for them is DK Metcalf being a year older but I think they started to struggle towards the end of this season and Wilson might be in decline.

At the Cardinals Murray will be a year older but he also started to struggle after a very exciting start to the season. Fitzgerald can’t last forever and apart from Hopkins Murray doesn’t have much to work with.

Overall the NFC West looks like a really exciting division. You’d have to strongly fancy the Rams to win it and possibly make the NFC final, for the Seahawks to struggle slightly and for it to be very tight between the Seahawks, Cards and 49ers for the wildcard spots.

Thats asking a lot from a lad who’s won a grand total of exactly 0 playoff games twelve years being in the league. He is the Marvin Lewis of QBs

Cousins is a solid top 5 QB every day of the week and will improve again under Shanahan. Heady days for the 49er franzhize ahead it could be like the 1980s all over again
