I was listening to a lions-centric podcast earlier this week. They had the Vikings beat writer for the athletic on to give some insight into the vikings.
His take was that the vikings pretty much play to the level of their opposition. They can’t beat bad teams easily yet consistently perform above expectation when playing the better sides this season.
They needed their kicker to make a career long field goal to beat the lions at home in September and are missing some key players tonight.
