Surprised with how little Deonte Harris has been used in pre-season. He’s faster than the rest and can easily get away downfield. Perfect target for Winston as well.

Nick Vannett sounds crocked as well. Juwan Johnson has converted to TE and will probably be north of 10/1 anytime TD in most of the early games

I’m starting to feel slightly more positive about the Cardinals.

Before, I thought that they couldn’t really improve on last year and I was/am concerned about Murray’s bad form at the end of the year and the risk of injury to Murray. An injury to Hopkins also finishes them. They’re losing Peterson, who was important there. Also losing Larry Fitzgerald who only made 1 catch per game but worked important lines in the slot that opened other things up and he was important behind behind scenes. I think there are a couple of defensive players gone. Arnold the TE is gone to the panthers where he’s supposed to be getting on well, despite being pretty shit.

Now I think… well… JJ Watt is a bit addition. They took a defensive player called Zaven Collins in the first round who won an award for best defensive college player. I had a wee look at past winners of that award and it’s about 50/50 between nfl busts and guys who are massive successes, like all-pro level.

The 2nd round pick was a wee WR named Rondale Moore who is apparently going really well and could be a genuine target.

I think Kenyan Drake is slightly better than James Connor but it’s much of a muchness.

I’m still worried about Murray and the coach is still irreparably flawed but if everything goes right they might be able to do slightly better than last year.
