No, article goes into that. Wider hash marks means defences are more spread out and easier to read, first downs stop the clock, more mismatches in terms of talent and athleticism leading to far bigger throwing windows, snaps in shot gun and never under centre, can clap their hands to have the ball snapped etc. Far easier to play the position in college.
