Super Bowl LX - the onerous odyssey to Santa Clara

They didn’t really. They got lucky rather than any kind of outstanding scouting/drafting ability. They took three other players before him in the fifth so obviously liked him but didn’t value him too highly all the same

Cardinals pick Jeremiah Love. I just realised, it’s an entirely realistic scenario that the Cards will suck big balls all season, end up finishing last and getting the 1.01, and then, instead of drafting a QB they will feel obliged to draft greatest WR prospect of all time, Jeremiah Smith with their first pick. That’s the kind of stupid shit they’ve been doing for years.

That will put the Cards in a situation where their skills players are Jeremiah Love, Jeremiah Smith, Marvin Harrison Jnr and Trey MacBride and they will still be one of the worst teams in the league.

Jeremiah Love is going to be killed ( figuratively, hopefully not literally) next year.

TFK can take a lot of inspiration from this. Things don’t have to be perfect.

NFL season over in June.

Has any team ever been more “all-in”?

Donald will come out of retirement too, feel sick.

Drafting Simpson makes less sense again now :man_shrugging:t2:

Talk is that they have little interest in extending Puca either. Seems a very strange pick in hindsight

AJ Brown to the Patriots finally confirmed. 1st and a 3rd.

Russell Wilson hangs up his cleats.

He was almost guaranteed a spot in Canton at the time of his blockbuster trade to Denver but has likely removed himself from that possibility with his poor play since.
