Can we get back on track and stop cribbing over players who are no longer involved.
the Pats Broncos games is the early one this sunday I believe.
Really looking forward to what Belicheck springs on the Broncos, as much as a cunt as he maybe he should win Coach of the year hands down.
I dont see the PAts ahving the same success with the run game as they did against the paper like defence of the colts.
In the second game, itās like the unstoppable force (Marshawn Lynch) vs the immovable object (the niners D). This will be a brutal war of attritionā¦Im backing KAP to get nailed late at least twiceā¦the 'hawks can be thugs.
That is my generic, uninformed view on this weekends proceedings.

yeah Iād expect the Broncos defence to be better prepared for the run game alright, but maybe itāll open it up for Brady so? Who knows. Either way, the Pats flimsy secondary will be no match for the Broncos wideouts and I expect them to win it. Would agree on BB as coach of the year too, the cunt. What he did to get that record and to where they are now with the injuries they had was something else.
Lynch will find it tough alright, but will wilson have enough to air it out a bit more. I was disappointed with him on Saturday. I suppose he didnt really need to perform, but I thought he was substandard in that game. Showed glimpses of what he can do, so needs to bring it all in the next game.
And its not a case of the hawks can be thugsā¦, the hawks are thugs. It says a lot when I now think Sherman is the most collected of them all and has reined himself back in. Their showboating on defence, the constant yaping and trash talking and late hits, they are on the verge of being aboslutely brilliant and who you want, or diockheads that youād love to see get burned. Much like Carolinas D all year were on that verge and lost it last Sunday and went into the dickhead category. Boldin will be sure to be involved early with them on the mouthing.

Broncos are big favourites- At the end of the day, Brady is working with 2 (3 if you include Collie) slot recievers - Unless Dobson is fit. Manning on the other handā¦ When the teams met earlier this year the pats run game struggled and both Blount and Ridley fumbled- with Ridley being benched for a few games as a consequence. The Broncos have lost one or two players since tho, and Blount is running hard, so who knows, but I think they are going to need more to win this one. If I remeber, Welker had great joy off Jammer that night, and got in for 2 TDs- More of the same please with Harris outā¦ If the run game isnāt working out, I expect Vereen to see a lot more action than the other night.
Pete Carroll should be coach of the year. To have that record in arguably the toughest division and a team without a star receiver. Belichick has long figured out exactly how to beat his weak division rivals. Belichick is probably one of the best coaches ever, I was praying chip kelly would get in for Blount, he essentially saved his career in Oregon but bill saw his potential. Seahawks defenders are hard bastards but most are undrafted or low round picks, and therefore have chips on their shoulders and play accordingly. They talk trash but the ravens D put in way more dangerous and head high hits on their run last year. In my opinion.
Everyone talks trash in the NFC west, you only have to see the Niners antics in Carolina to get it. And apparently the Rams are the worst of the lot. Itās not an aspect of the game I like, but it is what it is.
The biggest problems for the Seahawks are all on offense. Wilson is in the first slump of his career and he is not being helped by having absolutely nobody to throw to. Hopefully Harvin can be cleared by the concussion people because we need him badly. Tate, Baldwin, Miller et al are not getting it done. The big plus is the way Lynch is playing, but he wonāt beat the Niners D on his own.
Our D is outstanding however and Kaepernick and Co will be having nightmares about coming to Seattle again no matter what they say. Theyāve been battered the last two times they played there.
Itās all poised to be a close game IMO. One that could be decided by a moment of genius or a huge error. Whoever wins will be on cloud 9 for 2 weeks, the losers will be going through months of hell. These two teams hate each otherās guts. Make no mistake about that.
In somewhat of a surprise. Chargers OC Ken Whisenhunt has agreed terms to be the HC of the Tennessee Titans, spurning Detroit in the process (his expected destination). This is a big coup for the Titans, and Whiz is the kind of guy that can energize the franchise overnight. Detroit are reportedly moving towards Jim Caldwell now, which is not a good direction.
In an interesting turn, the Browns HC search is being delayed by Chudzinski no less, with the potential hires apparently contacting him to see what he made of the organisation. The Browns are also believed to be sky high on Johnny Manziel and view him as the solution.
This is a puzzler. Surely Whiz would have been better off going to Detroit where he would inherit an excellent QB, the best WR in the game and a dominant D line. Instead heās opted to go to a team with no viable QB and an overpaid RB who will surely be cut. Heās got his work cut out in Tennessee, perhaps he thinks he can turn Jake Lockerās fortunes around.
Two big pieces of breaking news: Jim Caldwell named the new HC of the Lions, an awful hire.
More significant though is the rejection of the concussion settlement between the players and the NFL by the judge adjudicating on its fairness.
Baffling call alright. Thought he was nailed on for Detroit and would have been an almost perfect fit.
Tennessee are uninspiring but not actually that bad. Both lines and the secondary are solid but QB is a problem that Locker or Ryan Fitzpatrick are not the answer to. Theyāre drafting around the middle and thereāll still be decent QBs in the board at that stage, McCarron possibly. If they draft well or pick up value FAās in the skill positions they could be contenders in a weak enough AFC South. Kenny Whiz is a great offensive coach and he may light a fire.
Munchak and Caldwell look to be the leading contenders in Detroit.
Edit - Just saw @Blakeās post. Caldwell it is then.

The people on this thread who canāt see past Coach Caldwellās skin colour disgust me. He did a fine job with the Ravens and he was shabbily treated by an organisation that has made a habit of treating legends poorly.
Broncos must be desperate. Theyāve signed Marquise Cole who was in and out of patriots all year. Hopefully he plays, but I imagine itās like branch to the colts, and they think theyāll get info and have no intention of him lining up at all on Sunday
A man long overdue a head coaching job, Mike Zimmer (Bengals DC) has been given the Minnesota Vikings job. A very good hire from a team that needs a strong coach with a dearth of talent and a need to improve quickly to stabilize the franchise. This is the kind of hire Zygi Wilf will have been looking for, with the need to provide excitement ahead of premium seats for the new stadium going on sale next year. The Bengals will be going into the new season with 2 new coordinators, not ideal but they certainly have the talent base to overcome.
The one player who hurt us during the regular season match up was Tamme, playing in Thomasā abscenceā¦ He killed us on a number of 3rd downs and Iām wondering what Thomas will do to us and who will cover him? The more I think of the Broncos offense, there can only be one winnerā¦I knows Bill is gonna have a plan tho!
