šŸˆ Super Bowl XLVIII- The Path to Meadowlands

Brady engineers a td on 1st drive

Jets getting rode royally up the hole by refs here. TD not given, 1st down not given and now Edelman fumbles, Jets recover and officials rule an incomplete pass, Pats retain the football. Shocking hometown calls.

Geno Smith hasnā€™t impressed me at all, on tonights evidence theyā€™ll be hoping Sanchez doesnā€™t need that operation. Brady has fuck all options to throw the football to here.

Brady is seething after that last play.

Geno needs a bit more urgency, heā€™s too composed for his own good and he often drops too far back. Donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever seen Brady so angry, heā€™s only himself to blame for a couple of the Pats fuck-ups. Big swing at the death there with the officials feeling guilty about their earlier hometown calls cancelling out New Englands TD and Gronkowski missing the FG. 13-3 at the half, itā€™s still there for Jets if they can get something going offensively.

The Heavens have opened in Foxboro

Better from Geno on that drive, Powell runs over from a few yards out for the TD

Weā€™ll win this yet. Brady is not happy.

'Hon the fookin Jets

rookie mistake there from Geno:oops:

Lets go Geno:cool:

Yet another rookie mistake:(*

*or maybe heā€™s just gash

You have to feel sorry for the cheerleaders on night like this, itā€™s like Galway/Kerry in Croke Park 08, but there they are dancing, smiling, gyrating away like their having the time of their lives. God bless America

This nordie style cynical feigning injuries to slow down up tempo offence is a becoming a stain on the good name of pro football. Think Pats overdo the handpassing too

FIGHT
ā€˜A sloppy game with a messy ending:Dā€™ Lads getting ejected all over the shop here, officials getting smacked too, no harm

Shameful scenes in Foxboro to finish. The precursor to all that was Geno throwing his 3rd interception of the night, alas he ainā€™t the messiah. Final score 13-10 to New England, they go 2 and 0 despite playing pure shite, ominous.
Edelman was the difference tonight, serious player.

Silly move by Belichick to have his injured tight end trying to kick fieldgoals.

whos says Bill Belichick isnt versatile in the use of he TEs, FG attempt from the Gronk*!

@Watchyourtoes what did he score in total for you?

Gostkowski come on @Lazarus ffsā€¦

All the best Fantasy players simply rely on the internetā€¦ @maroonandwhite is very anti this approach howeverā€¦

Bit more detail on the ending please Laz. Saw bits and pieces of the first half, most of the third quarter and up to Genoā€™s second pick near the end but missed the last 4 minutes or so.

Certainly donā€™t think Geno is the messiah but I think for the Jets itā€™s a question of wanting to know where he is around November/December. It doesnā€™t help Rex much (though Iā€™d keep him regardless) but theyā€™re better off exposing him to as many games as possible so they can make a decision for next yearā€™s draft. He wasnā€™t a first rounder so no shame in going again if heā€™s no better than he was tonight after 8 or 10 games.

Edelman was really reliable for Brady in that game - the only guy he could place any reliance. Geno wasnā€™t exactly helped by his receivers either, though that was a horrible throw for his second INT.
