šŸˆ Super Bowl XLVIII- The Path to Meadowlands
Should we expect more next week from Austin Collie @Gman ?

They seem to be slowly giving him a greater role and it helps that he can catch a ball.
slowly giving him a greater role? you mean he got 2 balls in the first game he was active? hard to know. If Amendola is out with concussion he will play a part, but Gronks return will also hinder his role too. Plus Dobson and Thompkins, depsite all their drops are getting a greater role now too. Dobson made a lot of catches in thefirst half, and there was nearly a rota of players used for the last game winning drive.

Shut it.

easy with the idle threats pal, get back in your uggsā€¦

Dobson and the running game through Ridley were great first half, even Hoomanawanui came up with some big plays- all fell to shit in the second half with drops all over the field. While the defence was great (Stills TD aside) Brady canā€™t keep taking sacks.

Any word on the injury front?

That last play was the best buzz Iā€™ve got from sport in a while. I was jumping around my front room like a sad case silently shouting ā€˜fuck you Macā€™ so as not to wake the household.

How bloody ridiculous to read about an Irishman giddily cheering after witnessing a last gasp TD for an east coast US sporting franchise that isnā€™t Philadelphia based. Weird cunt.

Dan connolly going off injured contributed directly to some of the sacks, but Canon wasnt too bad once he settled in. no news yet on him. Mayo left the stadium with his arm in a sling, but he doesnt miss many games so hopefully that was precautionary. Talib is a concern. Went off with a hip injury and he missed a portion of last year with same problem, so just have to see how bad that is. Amendola was knocked clean out. May have to miss time with the NFL concussion policy depending on the severity of it.

on the flip side, Ridley came though the game well, and Edelman despite being clattered at the end said he was fine too. And Gronk was apparently fully fit to play and was in all team drills on Friday, so keeping him another week or so is no harm. 5-1, playing shit and playing some decent teams isnt too bad all things considered.

Fixed that for you.

was going to put in the sporting pics, its not techincally a picture, but the picture doesnt do it justice. Zoltan Mesko, former Pats punter celebrating their first win this season by photobombing Big Bens post game interview. a definite alright sort, one of few players Iā€™d follow on twitter, and stayed following after he left the Pats. ā€˜I kick touchdown for Pittsburghā€™

NY Giants add RB Peyton Hillis

hmmmā€¦

not exactly the back neededā€¦ but might ease some coverage on defenders so ELi can throw in their general directionā€¦

#Elitemanning

Jarod Mayo done for the year at NE too. They really are fucked with injuries this year. the 5-1 record isnt reflective of where they really are now.

Big talk already with Manning going back to the Colts this week.

He will be welcomed back and cheered immensely as he deserves. Colt Legend

yeah Iā€™d imagine so. its not as if he left of his free will or anything or left to get more money, so fans shouldnt hold any grudges to him in any shape or form. if anything, Manning would have far more issues with the Colts over the way they handled it, releasing him whilst still injured before a scheduled payment kicked in and the ā€˜suck for Luckā€™ fans who were ready to throw him on the scrap heap. Although in fairness, I dont think many would have seen his recovery and rise back to form be as dramatic and spectacular as it is this season.

In fairness, I think everyone has gained from the move. Manning has a new lease of life. Broncos have the QB they always needed since Elway and Colts future (injury provided) is secure for 10 years of playoffs and contention.

And the Jets took the opportunity to give Sanchez the extended stellar contract he deserves.

the Jets also got the influence of Tebow for a whole year too in the move.

Win win for the jets.

Maybe we should start a Tim Tebow Return Date pool.
