You’d think with the incoming Republican president, that a Dallas Cowboys Superbowl win would tap right into the zeitgeist of the mood in 'Murica right now.
But the Republicans are poison for the Cowboys. They’ve only won one Superbowl under a Republican and that was well over 40 years ago.
Their last four have come under a Democrat and their last three under a Clinton.
Their last golden era started at the beginning of a Clinton presidency.
When Hillary Clinton lost, the Cowboys’ Superbowl chances went with her.
You would have to fancy the Packers with Rodgers form from here but if the Cowboys can hold GB to a field goal between here and the first possession in the second half their offence is set up to reel in Green Bay with Elliott running it down their throat and allowing the pass game time to pick apart the Green Bay’s shitty secondary.

Texas is a purple state now. Lots of californians living and working in Austin and Dallas as real estate got expensive and cost of living.

I’m going to bed, mate…I was up till 4.30 and back up at 8.30 this morning… I’m gutted to miss the Steelers game … unless Dallas can get pressure on Rodgers this result is not changing.

Neil Francis made a nice observation today on the almost 100% correlation between the colour of an NFL supporter and the colour of the player whose name they wear on the back of their jersey.
