Superbowl LI: The Road to Houston, Texas

It’s called Regular Season MVP for a reason.

Jesus you’d be sick if you lumped on Zeki for ROTY.

What’s that now?

Let’s forget MVP Matt Ryan, an incredible running back committee in Freeman & Coleman and a future hall of famer Julio Jones at WR

None of them will perform like they have without a kick ass offensive line and Mack is the key to that, read the stats before and after he came to Atlanta. I’m not pretending to be an expert here, read that article, it’s very good.

Did Dak get it?

I’ve gone right off American Football. I’m probably going to give the Super Bowl a miss tonight.

As with every other week day, I’m off tomorrow so I’m going out to watch it and will have some beer and hotdogs aswell. Can’t wait. Go Falcons

Off tomorrow and have my good bet on the Falcons at 11/4,head says Patriots but fuck it Julio will piss on Butler or whoever they try on him! Bring it home Matty ice.

Indeed. Despite zeki polling third overall in the MVP.

Here’s my favorite titbit;

The Falcons have scored an opening-drive touchdown in eight straight games, while this game’s total suggests 5.9 points should be scored every six minutes. Incredibly, New England has failed to score a single point in the first quarter of all six Super Bowls quarterbacked by Tom Brady, a statistic of which the Patriots are acutely aware.

Also, i quite enjoyed this little narrative heading into the game. Not sure if it’s been posted.

It is, but…

With a cousin as a former Atlanta Falcons place kicker, I’m throwing my lot in with them tonight.

Would you go away outta that. He’s an important piece and does anchor an improved O-Line, but to call him the key to the offense is absurd. Shanahan is what has put this O over the top, and Ryan, Jones/Sanu and Freeman/Coleman are more important than Mack still.

You’ve referenced this a few times mate. Did you win the lotto or just take the @gilgamboa approach to life?

Fair enough. You could have been less of a prick about it, I would contend that all of the above with the possible exception of the QB are replaceable with little effect on the offence, Julio possibly as well, Sanu ffs sake . They’d miss Mack badly, the stats are clear to see if you read the article.

Dry your eyes ffs sake. That’s a very mild rebuke by TFK standards, you sensitive cunt

Yes I read the article, which was a nice piece about Mack but illustrated almost nothing in terms of evidence of his importance statistically. There were a few stats thrown out about Atlanta’s offensive improvement but there was nothing causative linking any improvement to Mack.

The presence of Sanu is immensely important. He’s quick and has good hands, so he can stretch the field and take some heat from Jones. Ryan is back to his previously shown ability, which he produced when he had Roddy White with Julio. Sanu is definitely an important piece.

People who underestimate Sanu are dullards.

:grinning: is defending your opinions not the TFK way, go way to fuck.

@carryharry, I wouldn’t discuss football with a 7 year old, I’d be shocked if you had a notion of how anybody outside of the marquee positions could have any worth, typical fantasy player that hasn’t a notion, the only reason you even know who Sanu is was because you had him in your team for some of the year.

I’m looking forward to hearing your searing analysis tonight.

Nice reply coming from the dunce who needed an Article to base his opinion on Mack although I can’t recall you championing him throughout the Season.

In short, FOAD.
