Colin Kaepernick has created a huge controversy by refusing to stand for the National Anthem before last nights Niners/Packers game. He stated that he couldn’t stand for the flag and anthem that represents a country so oppressive to black people. He has been vocal on social media about the BLM matters campaign but he went balls out last night. He’s getting ripped by conservative sports writers and its kicked off a huge hot-take shitstorm.
Fair play to him for taking a stand on an issue he has genuine passion that will likely have a negative impact on his career and endorsements.

Tony Romo broke a bone in his back after being tackled from behind by Cliff Avril in last Thursday’s pre-season game. Out for up to 10 weeks, huge blow for the Cowboys but a huge opportunity for rookie Dak Prescott to shine.
Why? BLM is a racist organization whose members have been encouraging killing cops. Where have the cunts been while thousands of black people have been murdered every year for decades in their own communities? If black lives matter maybe stopping shooting each other would be a good start. The number of people (of any color) unjustly killed by police is actually quite low, and much lower than the number of cops killed every year on duty.
I’m not a Trump fan but on law and order issues he is mostly correct. More correct than the Dems siding with the group calling for police killings.
I wouldn’t be as knowledgeable about US political affairs as say someone like yourself or @Sidney, but I find it hard to believe the Democrats are siding with an organisation that is openly calling for police to be killed.
Anyway, great to see you take your place in the Turds, I’ve no doubt you’ll walk the league and join us in the Segunda next year.

Prescott has looked great in camp and pre-season, could do well behind that line with a few tweaks to the playbook.
Definitely. Whether it’s dumping it off to Zeki, or throwing it in the general vicinity of Dez or Witten, he’s fallen into a comfortable starting spot. Can scramble too by the looks of it preseason.
I loved watching Dak at Miss State and was hoping the Seahawks would draft him as he’d be an ideal back up if the unthinkable happened to Russell. Will be fascinating to see if the Cowboys roll the dice with him or go cap in hand to the Browns for McCown.
