That last 30 minutes was the worst performance I’ve seen from any professional soccer team in a long team. Lots of effort from a very young team in fairness but we can’t pass the ball 10 yards. Sammon left on for 90 minutes even though he had run himself into the ground after 70 is inexcusable.

fuck off. we’ve beaten plenty of teams in the past that were technically superior. We did it by harrying the fuckers so they can’t settle. You can’t sit back and let a team who are comfortable on the ball have possession and knock it about. Put the pressure on and play it up the field. Trap waited too long to make a change, and then took out the one man who would hold it up and put pressure on them in their half.

Ah that was disappointing. We really retreated for the last 20 minutes or so. Thought Green was the right call because he presses the ball well and they were struggling when we were in their faces but wouldn’t have taken Long off.
Mixed performance. Caused them some problems and played some tidy stuff either side of half time. But defending was really poor throughout. Wilson was abysmal all game, Clark was dreadful for the goal obviously and we sat far too deep in trying to see the game out.
