Mate of mine doing it for the 30th consecutive year tomorrow. He’s as fit as a fiddle.
I’d hate to burst lads bubbles but I’m pretty sure they flush the liffey out before the swim. They release a load of water from the damn in leixlip or kilcock in order for the 600 or so people to escape without weils disease and the likes.
Untrue. I have two (2) friends who I know for a fact caught weils disease doing the triathlon swim in the liffey a few years back. You can’t flush rat piss (unless it’s becks vier)
