Swimmix

A little early in the day for me.

I’d say it’s trout. There was no fishing private written on,but no mention of swimming.
It’s a grey area.
That’s my pal Laura with the flotation aid.
Did 1k today. Water 12.5 degrees. Still cold enough for a headache when you get in. Hope to do 2k on Friday.
Beats the hell out of the work canteen.

Oh no there goes my regular Sandymount beach swim :grinning:

Wet suit FFS water I s practically warm

You’d want your head examined to swim at Sandymount

I have never seen anyone swimming there in 11 years living around the corner from it. You’d see people out kite surfing alright.

I’m coming round to the idea that kitesurfers are bigger cunts than the RNLI

I’ve never met one in real life.

How long is that going on now. Would they ever just fix it

Me neither, I’m just going on their general conduct

I’ve dabbled a bit

I’d presume a responsible person wouldn’t be engaging in the cuntish behaviour like surfing too near swimmers

On the Burrow beach?

Thank fuck I’ll be back in the pool soon. It’s been one of the biggest irritants for me since lockdown. Praise the Lord.

I went for a dip in the sea at Burrow beach Wed evening. Fuck me the undercurrent was strong but it was a lovely swim. There was a weird flow of cold and warm water. I’m assuming the warm water was the Sellafield effect.

Terrible currents there. I’d never swim there. Too dangerous for a poor swimmer like me.

I’m a fairly strong swimmer, but I won’t swim anywhere there’s currents. They are unpredictable and fcuking dangerous flowing out, especially in cold water. You’re dead right.
