I’d forgotten that. Galway Bay swim, missing wallet etc :exploding_head:

Different year. The lions mane was an interesting *** experience

Many out at the Guillomene? I did the cliff walk from Dunmore over to Portally last few evening for about 8.30 and more or less had the place to ourselves for the swim.

What about this fella on Beale strand this evening so…

That’s about 1.5 - 2m wide

Jellyfish in Kilkee. Never saw so many.

The result of warmer weather and overfishing according to this.

Happy to report that Marble Hill in Donegal now seems to be free of jellyfish.

Nearly swam on top of a big lions mane at BlackRock yesterday. Warned off other bathers many of whom immediately left the water.

How did you avoid it?

It avoided him

I saw the fucker just in time. Last time I didn’t and won’t forget the experience. It was low tide. They are much less passive creatures than other jellies. This lad seemed to sense me and start swimming away. Solid looking fucker he was too. Nor a particularly big one. Basketball size maybe. Dark red/Scarlet .

Did you get a bad sting the last time?
