To win the title over champions like Flano, Farmer and Bondage is as humbling as it is victorious. But this title cannot be accepted before I thank my nominator and director of elections, the right honourable representive from Leitrim.

FarmerintheCity, I accept this title in your name. I can only hope that I follow in your footsteps and do the award justice, I will endeavour to replay the faith the voters have shown; just as you have done during and following your own reigns; Committedly and Consistently.

I would like to thank the Alliance, especially their South Eastern Chapter, the campaign sponsors BenSherminTravel, and myself. I know my vote counted.

It was a long campaign for Farmer and the work continued over three seasons; through Autumn, Winter and into the snowy Spring he didn’t relent, he didn’t give up and he didn’t bow.

I can only hope I continue to prove worthy of this title, just as FarmerintheCity and the other greats have done before me.

Dead right. The way she keeps going on about how I was banging on about this for a year - bullshit. Sure wasn’t I nominating Carter most of the time back then.

The fact is - she is an idiot. I don’t want this to be known as a victory for me. I want this to be recognised as a time when a true, true idiot won the prize. All I did was point it out to others. The nobility of this award is the true winner.
