Burger Bites
YES!
On a side note, does anyone else remember Wheelies, they were class too!

They were. Twelve to a bag though the cheap bastards.
Remember Perri’s had that promotion where you could win money or another free packet if you found the token thing inside the bag. We’d be in the shop at lunch-time feeling up every Perri bag in the box in search of those tokens. Ah those were the days…
Jesus that’s right! I remember you always won if you got a pack of prawn cocktail. You could only win another pack of prawn cocktail though and they were shit unfortunately.
It was a massive thing at the time. I remember at lunch-times then everyone would have bags of them, and i mean bags. You’d see fella’s then leaping around the place roaring their heads off and you knew the cunts had won something.
I never won money but i’d have won a fair few free bags. Perri’s must have made a small fortune at the time.

Simpler times Puke, simpler times…
Frosties (the sweets) were the business at the time as well. Lunch was cheap in those days.
Frosties were the bomb, or if it was a warm day a nice Mr Freeze…
You could go into the shop with 50p and buy two packets of taytos (eg wheelies or hot lips), two Mr. Freezes and a few penny sweets and still get some change back.
Those were the days…
I have memories of the following teeth destroyers:
Roy of the Rovers bars - tangy as fook
Desperate Dan bars
Highland Toffee
Apple Drops - used to stick to the brown paper bag
Oh yes.

Stinger bars were the bomb. They’d ravage your teeth though if you ate enough of them.
Stingers were so chewy that when you ate one, it felt like your teeth were being sucked out at the root.
Also liked Kola Kubes back then.
Banshee bones were deadky for the Perri promotion, there would often be 3 pouches in the pack instead of one.
Did anyone ever snort the powder out of the fizzy frosties?
(not saying I did but may know people who did!)
King is the standout winner for me.
As luck may have it got my hands on a packet of tayto today(gold dust round here)from a returning hero. fookin delicious.
As quarter pound of sweets go, it’s sherbet strawberries for me every time…
Was at a house party last night and the bird living there has a kid, so we were tucking into Refreshers bars and all sorts of stuff, simpler thrills

King for me.
Would agree 100% on the sherbet strawberries, they really are the business, used to buy a euro’s worth some mornings going to school, you’d get away with having them.
Wham bars are another that would destroy your teeth, there lovely though.
With three weeks to go the voting is still going strong in this one I see.
