Much better effort from Andy so far, than of late, to take the 2nd set and level it up. Novak breaks first game of the deciding set though.
Another Murray Djokovic final in miami. Hopefully it will be better than the one sided final in Indian wells.
I see James mcgee came back from 4-0 down to win in a challenger event in Mexico on the clay.
He lost the final 6-3 6-3 and is up to a career high ranking of 170.
Djokovic a comfortable 6-3 6-3 winner over Nadal on the clay in the semi final in Monte Carlo.
Thomas Berdych awaits in tomorrow’s final.
This is good stuff from Berdych. Pushing Novak all the way & levels it up 1 set apiece. Giving him much more of a game than Nadal did yesterday.
Novak wins 7-5 4-6 6-3
First man ever to win Indian Wells, Miami & Monte Carlo, the opening three Masters events of the season. Australian Open also in the bag as well for good measure.
Reigning champion Nishikori faces Pablo Andujar in the Barcelona Final tomorrow.
There’s a real chance that Nishkikori could push Nadal down to 5th seed for Roland Garros.

That will be some kick in the teeth fir Nadal.
James mcgee is some form lately. He is in the final of the savannah challenger clay court event.
Nishikori retains his crown in Barcelona winning 6-4 6-4

Federer is having a shit clay court season.
Beaten by Nick Kyrgios. As I keep saying, he’s at a stage in his career, when he can be beaten by anyone on any given day if he doesn’t turn up with his A game.
Murray won his first ever clay court title in Munich last week.

Good test for Murray tonight playing Raonic. Hard to think Murray has only won one clay court tournament.
First Masters Clay final for Murray. Good performance to beat Nishikori in straight sets. Nadal in the final.
Final starting now.
Andy is out of the strating blocks like the SNP on election night. Breaks Nadal in his first service game to go 2-0 up.
Andy takes the first set 6-3
Andy in control of this final now. Breaks first game of the 2nd set.
Double break for Andy, 3-0 up in the 2nd set.
That was terrific stuff from Andy. Absolutely demolished Nadal 6-3 6-2.
Very significant victory for Murray in the context of his career, first clay court Masters and first victory over Nadal on the surface. In the context of Paris though, can’t help but feel that Novak was the big winner today. Nadal looked dreadful.
