His forehead would give a good sized target to the cops anyway.

Having been on a bus from Lille to Amsterdam which stopped for half an hour at Antwerp the day of the Brexit referendum last June, and having got out, had a smoke and had a quick walk around the main square there, this failed terrorist attack strikes very close to home for me.

It could have been me this would be terrorist driver failed to hit.

I spent 3 night’s in Antwerp 3 years ago - This could easily have been princess and I.

Very frightening.

I got in a right digging match with some scobes in Liege 20-odd years ago.

Fuck Belgium.

:joy:

It’s definitely a time to hold your loved ones to you that little bit tighter.

I didn’t want to say it yesterday for fear of jumping on the grief bandwagon, but I’ve walked over Westminster Bridge several times, the last in 1993. I know it’s a different bridge and all, but I walked over Tower Bridge as recently as 2012.

So I’m counting my blessings that I wasn’t caught up in yesterday’s attack.

A royal standard pun.

52 year old Englishman Khalid Masood was the Westminster attacker.

A 52 year-old from Kent.

Here’s another 52 year-old from Kent.
