Sure yer man the Manchester bomber Salman Abedi was a British asset who was waltzing in and out of North Africa and the Middle East. They had him running riot out there but ended with him coming home and massacring their own people.

Now we have some lad who starred in a reality show about radical Muslims killing people on the streets. Itā€™s a complete clusterfuck from the government and the security services but incredibly you have the pretend Brits on here saying Jeremy Corbyn is weak and giving May a free pass despite the fact she was Home Secretary for 6 years before becoming PM.

You couldnā€™t make it.

In fairness I donā€™t know where the notion that right wing regimes are more suited to clamping down on terror comes from. In my lifetime the communist regimes in Eastern Europe with their secret police apparatus were absolutely and terrifyingly efficient in cracking down on any kind of subversion and terror.

Putin is the right man to deal with them.

That LIFG should have been enough to bring down the government by itself. Itā€™s a testament to the subservience of the ā€˜free pressā€™ that it hasnā€™t.

Not that it should be too much of a suprise either though, Wikileaks published docs on this stuff years ago. The Yanks spent years exploring ways to fund the Wahhabists in Syria because they were the best hope for creating an ā€˜effective oppositionā€™.

Itā€™s all the fault of those Muslim shopkeepers though innit. Smashing a few windows will put a stop to it.

Absolutely right. The Polish special forces picked up a shitload of undesirables around the time of the Popeā€™s visit last summer and there wasnā€™t a word about it.

Maybe. The only niggly naggly doubt about Jel is that he has consistently voted against all anti terror legislation in his career.

Who exactly is blaming ordinary Muslim shopkeepers or advocating the smashing of their windows? Some of the posts here are implying a ā€œThe Brits got what they deserveā€ type narrative with respect to the recent London/Manchester acts. Very few reports of anti-muslim violence in the UK as far as I can see. Iā€™m sure you could pull up some twat on twitter with racist remarks but donā€™t recall much violence against ordinary muslims.

Genuine question for you, although itā€™s easier in hindsight - post 9/11, do you think the West (Britain/USA) should have just pursued a complete isolationist policy, leave them to it in the ME, let the dictators slaughter their people as they see fit?

The wars have of course been a disaster, but Iā€™m interested to hear what approach you think they should have taken post 9/11?

Please donā€™t reply with they should have used sanctions etc as they only harm the general population with the ultimate effect of less resources available to them.

So another jihadi who had been reported to the police because of concerns his community had about him and the police did nothing, yet this is all the fault of the greater Muslim community?
