Britain is not heading for civil war but it is certainly heading for a return to the atmosphere of the days of Thatcher, particularly the 1984-1990 era where major disasters were frequent news events and there was a febrile atmosphere filled with huge political anger and unrest, with the country deeply divided. Itâs already there and has been for at least a few years now.
