Spin bowler here for West Indies, Cornwall, must be not far off 20 stone
He was in or around 22/23 stone when he made his test debut a few years ago. He has lost some weight and is probably around the 20 stone mark now alright. I was watching some of the proceedings in Antigua earlier and he hit a nice 73 batting at Number 6. A bona fide all rounder.
Kraig Braithwaite is a great man to dig in while wickets fall around him.
A change to what has been the running order in Australia in recent years for the Ashes series this winter. Perth is to be the 5th test.
1st test - 8-12 December, Gabba Brisbane
2nd test - 16-20 December, Adelaide Oval (Day/Night)
3rd test - 26-30 December, MCG Melbourne
4th test - 5-9 January, Sydney Cricket Ground
5th test - 14-18 January, Optus Stadium, Perth
Im not happy with a d/n test match- will a one day ball be used?
Adelaide was a day/night test on the last Ashes tour as well.
They use a pink ball.
Not much time between tests
Badly needed wicket for England there following the resumption from lunch at Lords
C’mon you Black Caps
Sporting declaration from NZ. Wouldn’t have tried that against India.
Afaik England currently 40/0 need 250 odd more off 57 overs. Only ever a wicket away from a collapse though.
NZ using this as a tune up for the World Test Championship v India. Draw still the favourite here.
Odds are currently England 8/1 NZ 5/1 draw 1/5.
NZ worth a degenerate bet.
England collapsing again
What do they have for “lunch”. Carvery? A fry up etc?
That’s a lamentable England batting effort.
You’re doing the kiwi bowlers a disservice
You have to feel the furore over Anderson tweeting that Broad looks like a lesbian has destroyed the spirit in the dressing room.
The Black Caps wrap up victory by 8 wickets and prepare for the big WTC final v India. The Poms have a bit of soul searching to do.
