He’s probably right. They only played one warm up match and haven’t been here long at all, which us very strange.

Absolutely. Warm up game was on a docile pitch. They were completely unprepared for pace and bounce of this pitch. This England team and set up is just full of idiots.

Sandpaper finally departs after a charmed existence. Good bowling from Carse who really worked him over.
He took a nice one on the elbow early on.
This pitch is a beast but Australia doing the only sensible thing you can do, try to weather it in the hope that batting will become easier. Australia have got through 17 overs at 1.82 an over.
England went along at 4.93 an over, but only lasted 32.5 overs. Usual brain dead stuff. Batting typically gets easier between overs 30-80 if you survive opening onslaught and until new ball.
