The emergency is over. Poor Gar must have been sure that his suspension would be lifted with the shortage of numbers but I’d rather be a man short than let indiscipline run rife throughout the squad. Monkey Allen was probably waiting nervously by his phone too but this is a time for revolution not devolution or whatever a regressive revolution might be called.
The one thing I will confirm is that I was very close to agreeing terms with Fran on a pay-as-you-play deal. Ultimately time ran out on us and we didn’t get to conclude our commercial negotiations but I like to think there’s the basis there to work on something in the future. Watch this space.
