Is it true the Bishop in Limerick pushed the communions back a week to allow the hotels to be open for afters??

I thought it was that everything was cancelled cause of the rise in cases, but your story is better.

The neighbour was telling me there his nephew was getting it in early July and it was pushed back by one week. He said there was an article in the leader saying it was to allow hotels be opened :man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:

All communions and confirmations in limerick were cancelled yesterday and then uncancelled and moved into July today apparently.
I think its to tie in with pubs reopening. But its more a case of, if they can be in the pubs they can be in the church.
Seems to be fairly ala carte restrictions though. Even christenings in wicklow are cancelled
No communions or confirmations allowed in kerry until September

Another disappointing jobs number in the U.S. Missing the target by 112,000. Keeping increasing interest rates at bay for a little longer.

Wall Street is up over 100 points as a result. As we say in this market, Bad News is Good News.

Surprising move here by the Germans.

What? You mean other major cities around the world have high rents and housing shortages?

I thought going by Twitter you could rent a 4 bed apartment in any city in the world except Dublin for $200 a week.

No, I mean it’s surprising that a democratic republic based on capitalism would take control from the large companies who own the apartments and revert to a socialist administration.

Basically I’m saying capitalism hasn’t worked in Berlin.

Woah man, you can get a penthouse in Thailand for €600 a month

It’s an excellent idea which could work really well in Germany because there’s a chance it will be efficiently run and free of corruption. Can you imagine the generational stroke pulling, bribing and general malfeasance if FFG got their hands on them.

Really? Have you read about the new airport in Berlin?

It has worked for the capitalists.

Let’s hope your pension scheme isn’t wrapped up with BerlinApartments.de or you might be drinking the home brew out of necessity.

An outlier.

The Germans are just the same as the rest of us. Their relatively cheap apartment prices are a legacy of communism as much as anything. Rent was famously cheap in Berlin because the place was in shite. Its not in shite anymore now so it’s getting expensive
