From the sounds of it is a substantially harsher deal than the one the referendum rejected. Surely the vote of the referendum has given him the mandate to walk away from the deal and default on the debt, and try to somehow start afresh. Or would it be impossible for them to source funding from anywhere? If they reneged on all their debt, and were running a surplus up to 5 months ago, surely it wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility they could survive on their own?

Was listening to some analyst earlier, he reckoned Tspiras thought he’d lose the referendum and was hoping he would. He’d then be able to go accept the deal and say his hands were tied.
After winning he was in a corner, so he brought together a unity government so he could blame the deal on them.

Novel observations
I said scientific research mate not what some randomer said. There is a Spanish connection but not the one mentioned (maybe a few washed up from the armada but they hardly propagated much in a few centuries), the Celts also ended up in Galicia which is why you have art, music, language, and monuments there similar to Ireland and other Celtic cultures. If by mankind you mean Homo sapiens sapiens we all originated in Africa.
