So folks, we’re planning on having thefreekick christmas party sometime around christmas strangely enough. Having spoken at length to rocko about it during Celtic’s unconvincing victory over Aberdeen we think a date in the week before christmas would be best. I am now formally proposing either Tuesday 19th December or Wednesday 20th. Please respond on this thread as to what date suits you best. Just to let all our global members know; the party will take place in Dublin, Ireland. I hope you can all make it. It promises to be a smashing evening encompassing all that is good about our website and forum 
Generally speaking I prefer beering later in the week so I would be up for the Wednesday. Is there any more details to be had? Is it just going to be some sort of get-together in a pub like we had in Kehoes a few weeks ago?

I think we said the Monday or Tuesday at the weekend because we felt people were more likely to have other commitments later on in the week. Nobody is doing anything on a Monday or Tuesday night so best time to get a full turnout. As it’s the week before Christmas we’re hoping people will abandon their early-week conservatism. Good to see you didn’t stick to your guns anyway Farmer.
For the record Monday or Tuesday is fine for me.
Bandage has taken some time off work to put all the planning in place for the event. Not sure of the venue yet.

Myself and Bandage had a meeting in Fraser’s on Saturday where we discussed all operational issues regarding the forum, including the Christmas party. At that point it was decided to set up a sub-committee responsible for the implementation of the Christmas party and all organisational tasks were delegated to that committee.
It was agreed the Y2K6XMSPTY Committee would comprise one individual and would be a full-time role. After a keenly contested contest, Bandage won my nomination and he terminated his contract with his previous employers to concentrate full-time on this endeavour. I trust he enjoys your full support.

Tuesday 19th doesn’t suit me, I have my work Christmas do on that night. I won’t hold a grudge against the administrators if they decide to hold it that night as it’s very hard to suit everybody!
