TFK Hurling Team of the last 20 years - Corner backs

Big WWE fans too.

Ollie is a cert IMO. How many of his contemporaries in the forwards have said he was their toughest opponent? A right good scatter of them anyway. Lightening fast and an immaculate touch.

Other spot is completely up for grabs.

Canning & Barrett for me.

Jackie Tyrell had to work hard at rising the ball on the run ffs

Tyrell was well beaten by Noel McGrath in the first final in 2014, Noel also got 2 points off him in the replay, Bubbles got the better of him in 2013, 2009 he was on Eoin Kelly and Kelly was outstanding. They’re just ones involving Tipp players. A few dirty belts fool a lot of lads

Yeah but he’s a warrior

Wasn’t there a time that the Limerick lads used to accuse the Clare lads about being hurling snobs because they’d won fuck all?

Look we’ve been here before, he won a handy all-Ireland in 2018 when the big 3 were in turmoil. They’re handy enough to come by, even Offaly won a few in the 90’s

Proportional representation, I like it

 Tyrell had to get 1 to 1 lessons from Br. Damien on picking the ball on the run.

Paul Murphy. Now there’s a live option for corner back. But he wasn’t a warrior like ‘Jab Lift’ Jackie as he was known

Canning & Kavanagh.

then…

Sherlock & Barrett.

Limerick lads need to see the 20 year aspect of this. It’s not the best hurlers of 2018 we’re debating.

I see what you’re doing with Sherlock, you ol rogue you

None of those corner backs close to the dominance or ability of Finn

If you were a full back like Daithi Burke or Richie McCarthy, you’d want Wayne Sherlock and Mick Kavanagh either side of you

Actually, I just noticed that DOC O’Connor didn’t even get a mention here. I presume he’ll be included with the wing forwards then Big Mick?

Barrett (#2) and Canning (#4).

+1

Why do fellas with kitchen islands and 2 acre gardens hate fellas who wear nice clothes?

Who were the other ones in your top 4?
