Ireland used have a very high refusal rate, then it swung to very low. Dunno what it is now. If as you say, we accept people that should be refused (no evidence for this at all) then that’s on us and we should improve our system. They’re working on reform of the decision making process too I think.

Unvetted means no passport, no documents but you show up at the border and Paddy says, come on in. You are expected however to show up at a hearing in 12 months and can appeal for as along as you like, and then stay anyway regardless of said judgement. Something along those lines mate but you should check twitter again.
