Thereās hope for me yet. I played Division 8 hurling against him this year.

Pudgie broke our hearts in 2016, denied us promotion in the Intermediate semi-final (back when it was 2 up). We drew the first game, second game was a battle, went to extra-time, still nip-and-tuck as it had been across 130-odd minutes; he went in full-forward, scored 1-1 in about 2 minutes and they won by 4.
Serious hurler at his best but not always the most reliable.

I met him during the summer in Dingle, he was a tour guide out on a boat. Nice fella to be fair to him!
