He was a cunt too.
can someone please surmise for me briefly what Thatcher did so wrong make her such a hate figure?
I understand her position in regard to NI politics would not be to the agreement of Nationalists up there but was she really any different to any Tory PM that went before her?. The ra tried to kill FFS, what they expect in return?.
Its rather odd but sadly unexpected seeing the Oirish leftist, working class , British red top reading masses getting all hot and bothered about her attitude to British trade union culture, poll tax, closing down coal mines in northern england, the fucking Scottish economy and her stance on soccer violence… if Thatcher ever wanted any proof that Paddy was controlled by what goes on in Westminister then this is it… maybe this should be her legacy in relation to Ireland
At least the likes Paul O’Connell MBE, O’Gara, etc who will line out for the British Lions , Art Foley, Mac and others of similar ilk publically display their loyalty to the crown shamelessly, the likes of these cunts drinking Carling black label in front of Sky Sports news , crying about Hillsborough and talking about the “bitch who closed the mine” are worse and even more servile, they’re just afraid to admit it
Its a pity Ireland never had a Taoiseach with the balls Thatcher had, she rightly told Europe to go fuck itself ( even tho it eventually led to her political demise) . As a British nationalist and someone who demonstrated respect for Britain in foreign policy matters she could not be questioned, and frankly i have no idea why it bothers anyone in Ireland
the fact that her death is so widely covered and almost celebrated in ireland is a symbol how the island is just an extension of britain, Paddy can breathe a sigh of relief now and will celebrate because “the bitch” is dead…
Sometimes you’d wonder why the likes of Bobby Sands sat starving in his own shit if he knew what was really going on or would happen if he got the freedom he so desired, maybe its just as well NI remains under British rule, at least then the nationalist community will have some concept of what it means to be irish because some of their brethern down south are more british and influenced by John Bull then their orange neighbours…
Maybe its only possible to be Irish if you feel oppressed by another govenerment?, maybe irish people are not meant to rule themselves which is why the government here look to Europe for guidance and your average government hating Joe Soap looks to the EPL and Murdoch media all the time convincing himself that he hates the Brits, but w/o them would be nothing…
why was he a cunt and how did he impact you?
mickee321, why so edgy this morning? Has the relegation from Hurlings top tier sunk in badly?
I think Mickee has bitten off more than he can chew here, taking on Harry AND horsebox
at least the dockers in Foynes couldnt give a fuck about Thatcher,
I wonder would a lot of drugs shipments come in through Foynes? I wouldn’t imagine customs would be up to much there.
why would you say a thing like that?

Wrong again mickee. Not that many people here give a shit. There’s people up and down england having street parties alright but you’re mistaking the ramblings of tfk as a fair reflection of irish opinion.
Still it’s good that you’re overseeing events from afar and enlightening us with your considered opinions.
I was just wondering is all. You seem well up with dockers in Foynes so thought you might have the inside track.
I’d imagine the Shannon Estuary would be an ideal smuggling route. You could have a speed boat out and back in to a ship coming in along the estuary in a matter of minutes.

Do you feel that TFK isn’t representative of the overall view in the country, Juhniallio?
Justice for the 96!
More like justice for 96, cheating Wexford Cunts
The murdering of Irish heroes such as Pat Finnucane and Mairead Farrell is reason enough for me Mickee… tiocfaidh ár lá!
Sadly, the country isn’t just pupulated by young to middle aged* high flyers with an unquenchable thirst for sport and identifying cuntery in all its forms.
*Apologies, fagan.

True enough, I guess. But we do cover a large part of the demographic - we even had a woman posting on here at one stage a few years ago.
