Very gutsy last six or seven holes by our Rory. He’s right in the mix. Not having the pressure of being in the final groups should benefit him tomorrow.

He’s in a grand spot. Three shots is not a lot in this situation. Probably be in the fourth last group which is a good place to be. The course is playing very tough and the closing holes for the final groups could see them dropping like flies. Get in, post a decent total, watch the later groups puke it up. US Opens have been won like that before, Ogilvy won with four pars to finish when he was behind in 2006, everybody else collapsed on the run in.
