The 6 Nations 2024

Tough opener for Ireland in Cardiff this afternoon. They haven’t won there in a decade since 2013. The day Zeebs announced himself on the world stage.

No Gibson-Park it seems

Will they have to make do with an Irish fella?

It’s right now that rugby feels the loss of the great Eddie Butler most.

Eddie captained Wales to a victory over Ireland in the corresponding fixture 40 years ago. Ireland won 3 of their 4 games and the Championship in 1983. It was a loss in Cardiff that cost Ireland a Grand Slam.

There’s a fair few Hall of Famers in this Welsh outfit.

Goosebumps.

Ken Owens and Alun Wyn Jones are men you would go to war with.

Great start for Ireland.

Some carry by Ryan

Is that score not just all about the mental bounce the ball took?

Welsh getting bullied a bit here, best way to stop a Gatland team

This reminds me of the blistering start Ireland made the last time we won in Cardiff in 2013. They stormed back in the second half and almost clawed it back from 31-3 or something like that. That was a much better Wales team back then though.

These Welsh geriatrics should be put out to pasture
