The average lifespan of a premier league manager is just over one season, before Pardew left for Palace he has the second longest serving manager in the league. It is an utterly ridiculous accusation to make against the man. The likes of Wenger and Ferguson are exceptions to the rule and we will never see the likes of it again in top level football. Pardew did an excellent job in tough circumstances at Newcastle and he will do an similarly excellent job with Crystal Palace.
