Last time he came from 2 sets down to win was against Monfils in the quarter final of the 2014 US Open. Cilic beat him in straight sets in the semi final. He played as well as ever did in parts of that 4th and 5th set today. The issue for any player in their mid 30’s is to sustain that level and recovery time between matches.
