It was a demolition. Credit to Big Kev for getting so far, but it’s usually only the greats that prevail at the Championship. If you are not sound in all facets of the game, unlike some of the other Grand Slams you won’t win the Champojonship.

He’s level with Rod Laver now. Four Championships about the minimum requirement to be considered a true great of the game.
Not forgetting that Djokovic is one of only a couple and i mean a couple to have held all 4 slams at the one time.

Barry Davies was commentating on the mixed doubles final just there
it was very soothing as im in a state of loss mourning the end of the world cup
its a bit like the sunday evening after and all ireland hurling final knowing we have to head back to school tomorrow or the end of an olympic games

would only be a casual tennis fan but i got a pleasant surprise when i sat down on friday at 9 with a can of Karpackie to see Nadal and Djokovic was starting
the first 3 sets of that were gripping, marquee stuff,
hard to believe the GAA players were complaining about playing 3 matches in 3 weeks once a year
these lads were off at 11pm and back on 10 hour later

Would any of the good skins on here be able to sort a man for tickets for the 1/4s. Centre court obviously. Willing to pay top dollar. Badly stuck for two.
