It’ll increase the attendance though. Less TV means higher crowds and higher impact on the public consciousness. Thanks Christy Cooney.
Good to see RTÉ starting with the best provincial championship though

Kevin Cassidy is Newstalk’s reporter at Breffni Park for Cavan v Donegal

Roscommon 1-12 Galway 1-14
Westmeath 0-10 Louth 0-12
Longford 1-15 Laos 1-12
Galway will destroy these slack jawed lepers
Well said Liam. Really looking forward to it.
Read the O’Rourke’s column today and he wants referees to give less yellow cards. What a ridiculous comment.
And there’s Kevin Cassidy. He’s a total and utter self publicist that lad. And not the brightest spark in the plug either, well to Jim McGuinness for cutting him loose and sticking to his guns.
Galways forwards on the bench are probably better than their starters. Micheal Meehan, Cormac Bane, Micheal Boyle, the speedy Danny Cummins and of course the greatest footballer of all time, Paraic Joyce. His cousin Nicky was decent too, will no doubt be following the game in one of the city’s more trendy and chic drinking establishments

Galway midfielder Greg Higgins has scored point for Roscommon according to Marty Morrissey
What’s the story with Nicky, just too fond of the sauce?
Limerick lead 1-5 to 0-7 at half time.
An absolutely shit match, two bad teams.
Has anyone quipped that Cork or Kerry would ‘bate the pick of them’ yet?
Fond of the good life alright. Decided he could’t give the required commitement despite going through the league campaign. Previous managers mollycoddled him a bit but Mulholland jasu said good luck. Highly unlikely he’ll be seen in the jersey again
