I used to love going out early home early. Even going for a pint while herself is off shopping or in the in lawsâŠwith one kid itâs easy. With two??
I now know why as you get older the timeframe for a pint changes. I was half tempted to stroll down for a pint at 10pmâŠI didnât.

I watched it last week. Found it really sad. Sheâs stopped making any effort at all, used to apply a bit of make up and look quite pleasant but now sheâs just given up.
Avoid.
Thereâs probably better reasons to avoid her other than not wearing make up

Funny isnât it. I used to love going for a pint on a Sunday night. Especially during the summer. Hit down around nine to watch the Sunday game. No more then four and then home. I couldnât be arsed these days.
Even the wife said to me to go down for a few today to watch the rugby. But with the fire blazing and a drop of soup before the dinner, Iâll be snoring away by half 2

I remember the days when I usent even decide what I was up to for the night til half ten. Now I like to be home from the pub in time for the dinner.

My parents were still young when myself and the sister left home. I was working in Dublin and used to drive down on a Friday night. All ready for action. Could not for the life of me understand why they were tucked up in the sitting room watching the Late Late and the fire going. Jayses not if you said mass for me now would you get me out the door on a Friday night.
I guess we do turn into our parents

Indeed. I think itâs just fatigue. Back then, your raison dâĂȘtre was going out drinking and carousing. Now itâs working, paying the bills, and trying to rear the snappers so they too can work, keep the wolf away, and maybe rear their own. I miss the excitement of it all sometimes, but Iâm content enough. I wonder were our folks content, or just worn out. Times were harder then I suspect.
Probably a bit of both. These days especially in Winter I love the Friday evenings with the family. Once a month is take away night and like a fucking exit I end up going to the chipper and the Chinese as therequested is rarely unison regarding what they want to eat.
Watched this last night. She is a bit of a cold bitch but she didnât do anything. Youâd feel most sorry for Raphaele. Seems like a simple enough fella. And Kirchners mother utterly confused by everything thatâs happened.
