[size=1]Knox, 24, and her family had high hopes that she would be freed and allowed to return home after spending the last four years behind bars for the killing of Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy, in 2007.[/size]
[size=1]In December 2009 she had been sentenced to 26 years and last night the judge and jury agreed with prosecutors that she should remain in prison as they accepted that she had brutally murdered student Meredith.[/size]

Amazing story really.Hollywood wouldnât make it up.TV coverage between CNN and Sky is morally reprehensible.Hundreds of millions of people zoning in on a persons life changing moment of truth.Cant understand skys biasness towards Knox and what agenda they have.If it was RTE and an Irish student involved I cant imagine a similar broadcasting angle to the one sky is portraying.
As to the verdict.No one will ever know.Too many variables,inconsistencies and contamination of evidence not to mention the distorted sequence of events portrayed by the protaganists.There is reasonable doubt, actually substantial doubt against a guilty verdict.In my opinion I would give her the benefit of the doubt.
On a side note I wonder has David Norris being sending letters to Perugia.
