The Andy Reid Fitness Monitoring Thread

Iā€™m zen mate.

weā€™ve already had enough Chinese shite this year.

Fat Boy Reid ate plenty of it in his time too.

Some psychology student should do a thesis on your infatuation with our 18s National Managerā€™s weight.

If only he had any of the same sort of dedication.

32 caps for boys in green, coaching with Forest & Ireland, thatā€™s dedication

Its embarrassing.

1 less cap than Paul McShane. A real measure of quality in that era.

Comparing apples & oranges. Paul McShane wasnā€™t banished from the camp for 5 years by a contrary geriatric. McShane also had nowhere near as many injuries as Reid.

Reid and his banjo were a distraction
Trap called it right again

Trap got nothing right in 5 years. Manā€™s a prehistoric ape.

Totally agree. That clown trapatoni set Irish football back 10 years.

Ah lads, Trap is one of European footballs greatest men

Got Ireland to Euro 2012, unlucky not to get to WC 2010.

I suspect he never really got over the Henry incident and that shock only hit him during the 2014 qualifiers, leading to a poor campaign

Is Trapp being vilified on here for not picking an overweight lad who was never fit and usually always injured?

I followed Ireland thick and thin but I had to give up under trap. It was just totally depressing. Even Martin o neills era was an improvement.

Talking to a squad member recently. Trapp is the only manager since Charlton that the players would not criticise

Team just grew old. Euro 2012 came a year too late for our key players Keane, Duff, Given, Dunne who were on the decline at that point and struggling for form compared to the couple of years previous. Them the breaks

Is his autograph legible?

Hmm, slim player gets injured less than fat player. Who woulda thunk it
