Sounds like the people you thought were “die-hards” were actually more interested in the soccer and you completely misjudged the situation. You then tried to make an anecdote out of it to support some shit point or other.
The comments and replies to them
Is it true that one of the Oirish players needed oxygen after tweaking his hammer yesterday?
What does Superman take when he tweaks his hammer.
POCsygen!!
It was an alvusion. Tearing the muscle off the bone.
9 months recovery and even then about a 15% chance of playing again due to his age.
The pain would have been outragous.
Great.
I’m sure whatever pain POC felt was a hell of a lot less than the pain you felt yesterday.
Not really, pal… If Ireland were to win it, that would be a different story but I beleive they merely won a group game against a very out of sorts French team yesterday?

I work with a rugby jock lad who actually tends to laugh just like those boys (laughing at something that is genuinely funny in the office but completely way over exaggerating the laugh and bants). Must be an attention seeking thing or something but he sounds like a simpleton after it compared to everyone else.
Its just different humour. Alot of these lads go to fee paying schools. I have plenty friends who did.
They don’t get my humour at all except the few who were gah lads along the way or had a bit of a wild streak growing up.
The things they think are funny have me windering sometimes.
Kinda like an Aussies humour ir frat boy humour. And then there is the nervous insecurity that kinda goes with it, that exaggerated laughing you speak of.
Insecurity is certainly a factor for the lad I work with. A bit out of his depth in his job and trying to over compensate in all sorts of ways. Banter being just one.
I reckon a lot of the lads in that video may have been conscious of the video rolling while in the presence of a global sports star with millions of twitter followers, etc
Anyway laughter is a good thing in life (more so when it’s fully natural)
One of the Kearneys looks like an absolute simpleton in that video
LOL, mate LOL
