Rugby seems to have an incredible sense of self delusion. Trying to emulate NFLās international series by playing matches in Japan, America etc where no one gives a fuck. Traditional powerhouses like France, Australia, South Africa dont care about international rugby anymore. The rugby fraternity have drank too much of the hype koolaid in Ireland too and thankfully its only a matter of time before people are indifferent to it here too.

The scummy soccer crowd could learn a lot from the rubby football administration in Ireland.
If the FAI ever needs tips on underachieving and bottling 100% of the knockout tournament games they play, theyāll head straight to the IRFU

I presume its due to injury and not because they have failed the compulsory training from the IRFU that all rugby players have to complete?
