Diaby had no injury problems until the terrible tackle on him by some Sunderland goon when Arsenal were 3-0 up and the game in injury time. Diaby played his last game when he was 30 and the Sunderland lad was back playing amateur football before he was 25.

He broke Ramsay’s leg but Ramsay improved after that if anything. Martin Taylor ruined Eduardo’s career which is probably what you’re thinking of
Eduardo and Ramseys injuries were more shocking to look at but they both went on to have full careers. Diaby actually hobbled off with his injury but the damage it done could never be put right. His is a very sorry tale really, he was incredibly highly rated and you could see it the odd time he got a run of games.
