It is utterly bizarre how he has been treated by Mancini, no start in 4 games.
He has 73 goals in the past 2 and a bit seasons for Lazio, he scored 6 goals in the last World Cup qualifying campaign and Italy are crying out for goals and Mancini leaves his only firing, proven scorer on the bench for his 4 games so far. He hasnât even picked a striker tonight whereas he went with a fraud like Balotelli and an out of form Belotti in the last game.
Yeah heâs been playing well for Juventus lately but he flatters to deceive a lot. I think he could be a player who really peaks later in a few years. At the minute his position chops and changes the whole time and it is hard to know what type of player he actually is.
