The Barclays Premier League 2015/16™

Leicester running out of games to drop points in now, it’s looking grim for the rest of the pack.

Big win for Norwich today, the teams behind have games in hand but you’d definitely rather points on the board at that end of the table

They’ve been rock solid consistent all season. Very little by way of silly results or off days they can reproach themselves over, missed penalties when drawing at home to Bournemouth and at Aston Villa, a bit jaded looking in losing 1-0 to Liverpool on Boxing Day and that’s about it. The chasing pack of Spurs, Woolwich and Man City all have scorecards that are littered with sloppy dropped points.

They’ve won 12 games 1-0. They can close a game out.

Embarrassing dive in the box from Long there.

Coutinho is something else for those shots from outside the box.

Lovely finish from Sturridge after good work from Origi

In fairness the Soton keeper is a bit shite. Should have gotten a hand on both goals.

74 points is not looking such an unrealistic target now.

This would be our fourth win at St. Mary’s in 24 months.

Defoe!!!

Hon Big Sam!

Benitez has been out-tacticed in the first half by Big Sam.

Mannone gets away with one there.

Sunderland by far the better team here, Kirchhoff looks a very decent player.

Newcastle are finished

Colback is a red card waiting to happen.

That is an outrageous save from Rob Elliot.

Colback subbed before he gets himself sent off.

John O’Shea playing against Newcastle for the 21st time today and has yet to be on the losing side against them
