As I said over on the Tottenham thread, the real hurt was three weeks ago the night of the dropped points to West Brom which ended title hopes. With European Cup group stage football all but secured at that stage, 2nd/3rd was all the one. Finishing 1st was all that mattered.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. He started most of the games and was utter shit in most of them. Also none of the players who played instead of him are Ligue 1 rejects. There’s a reason Benitez started a completely shit Cisse ahead of him. He is also a massive liability and could get sent off at any moment

The main reason Newcastle are going down is because of his shit finishing. 5 goals from play in his 22 starts. He’s looked better all season when coming off the bench. It’s nothing to do with playing “good” football. Newcastle’s only good bits of form this season is when he’s been on the bench. This is a fact. And trying to break someone’s leg doesn’t mean that you’re trying btw
