The Barclays Premier League 2015/16™

Ah balls

That goal will be even more enjoyable when Arsenal bottle their way out of contention in early April.

Alright. You’ve reeled me in.

Would you ever fuck off you sad cunt. You and your Spurs have won two leagues in their fucking history. The great Arsene Wenger has won more than that. And he did it in six years.

That game needed a referee with a pair. Sadly we got the lamentable Martin Atkinson.

Soft Penalty - Soft Red Card.

Dignified reaction in defeat from Claudio Ranieri. You could only imagine the reaction from the Specialist in Failure if Woolwich were blackguarded out of it the way Leicester were.

Ranieri revealed he thought referee Martin Atkison was too quick to give Simpson a second yellow.

"It was a fantastic match, very fast. I don’t know if in a normal match that our two yellows cards was a sending off. They were normal fouls, but not yellow cards.

“I think the referee was too severe to us for the sending-off. 11 v 11, I’m sure we win the match. The match was full of fouls so why send off a player? Come on.

"We know Arsenal are a fantastic team, they move the ball quickly and have skill, but we had to concentrate. We tried to counter attack and we controlled the match very well.

"They scored with the last chance - they were smarter than us.

“We are still top of the table, got two points more - we must carry on and smile. We lost to our opponents - we must say well done.”

Once again Arsenal show tremendous bottle when under such pressure to deliver. How many seasons have they been written off for a top four finish in March only to then win high pressure games, while likes of Spurs and Everton fall apart.

Add in two cup final wins and you can’t question the mental strength of this Arsenal team. They haven’t hit any sort of form yet this season, yet their character has them 2 points off the top and 3 ahead of the greatest Spurs team ever.

Yes, Woolwich are looking good now for Top 4 which is their barometer of a successful season.

This is a good young Spurs team, assembled for a fraction of the cost of the elite coterie of super franchises. They have a bit to go still though before they knock Danny Blanchflower, Dave Mackay, Cliff Jones, John White et al off that particular perch.

You are right Arsenal’s barometer of success is low. I’d gladly swap all our title wins for the two that Spurs have. Or the consecutive top 4 finishes for finishing 4th once every 10 years.

Loving the “Woolwich” thing too, it’s very funny. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s cringey or sad.

Mother Theresa commentating on this one, I might go to bed instead.

Penalty Spurs…

Kane scores. Outstanding for my fantasy football captain.

Another sham of a call for a Penalty today.
