Probably wiped his eye a few years ago;)
You probably don’t watch as much of Cork as i have. He goes completely missing in tough games. Limerick drove it into Cork today and he disapears. It happens over and over.
Nothing whatsoever against him, he is a sound chap from what i have met. Just don’t think he’s better than other Cork players in his position.

Prob not but he has also been Cork’s best player on numerous times over the years. He lacks a touch of pace but is well able to score. If he could get his confidence back he would be a huge addition to the Cork side. He definitely doesnt need fans like you jumping down his throat at every opportunity.
Maybe he could be an option at centre forward in the Padraic Joyce mold? The Cork half forward line lacks guile and creativity and he could add something. At his worst he is still a live option from the bench.
Padraic Joyce, by a good 6 points, is still the best 11 in the country,.
The most consistent anyway. Declan o Sullivan and brian mcguigan aren’t far off tho. Brilliant footballers on their day. Donegal had a good one too can’t rem his name tho.
The Armagh manager doesn’t seem too pissed off about having lost anyway

Who the fuck died and made you king?
I said he’s not up to it, as i said about 4 other players, why don’t you have a bee in your bonet about them?
Getover yourself.
He isn’t even related to a Padraig Joyce. He got blown away by Aidan O’ Mahoney when he played centre forward, it was a place i thought he might do well as well.
This week alone i read two interviews, one with Masters and one with Kerrigan, they both mentioned looking over at the line wondering were they going to be taken off. Now that shows a huge lack of confidence in themselves, but also from whoever is in charge of them. You don’t win All-Irelands with frailities like that, simple as. You go out and play as hard as you can, if thats good enough then brilliant, if its not then there is f-all you can do about it. Whatever it was, Masters didn’t do his job today.
Masters spoke about doing weights, but i think some of theses guys think doing weights makes you tougher. You still have to go out there and use that body, take hits for scores and for the team in general. Limerick wore into the 3 Nemo boys today, was that a plan, i don’t know, but they weren’t able for it. Its no surprise that i also read an article about Drom Broadford players with Limerick and how it had changed their attitude. Its too much of a co-incidence these 3 Cork players all failed to produce.
Limerick are going to make life difficult for a couple of more teams this year i’d be thinking.
caoimhin is etc etc
Fuck you Jack.

No digb at you kev but it sickenend me agqin today, ealking out of the ground with fans of the teams who had beat us and they not giving a fuck about winning a munsster. It’s just so annotying, it meant nothinng to most cork fans to win today but would have meant absolutely everything to the few vLimerick fans who went down.
Ah tis tough runty, tis tough as fuck.
Keep up the fight, when it comes, it will be all the sweeter. Hope Galvin is still going when it comes. Savage servant.
Yeah - saw that alright.
Yeah we are out of the Championship at the start of July when realistically with the players we have we should be challenging for major honours.
But I’ll be damned if I let that get me down.

Cunt shouldnt have been playing yesterday after his antics against Clare. Ref bottled it. Fuck him.
Referees job to take care of that, not Galvins. Gave a great showing again yesterday, Limerick players just lost the bottle to take their scores in the 2nd half yesterday.
Oh and it was never a penalty.
Goulding is some player though, bad form it took him this long to get his place nailed down to be honest.
Oh and Masters is finished.

I was always king
Sure every All Ireland winner in history Kev has had no doubt about themselves. Every All Ireland winner in history has had 100% self belief and confidence in themselves, right? Skill, ability, teamplay, tactics are only an after thought obviously :guns:
Kerrigan and Masters are obviously talented footballers, forwards with ability to score and create scores. None of them are the finished article and as they have said publicly they lack self belief. Its hard to have self belief when the manager has no faith in you, id say a lot of lads on here have been the same - no matter how well you play you have doubters and if things are going wrong you are one of the first off. Its the same in every team in every sport. Trappatoni with Andy Reid, O’Neill with Shorey, Justin McCarthy with Dave Bennett, Cyril Lyons with John Reddan etc
That was the case with Masters against Kerry the first day. It was one of the worst tactical changes I had ever seen. Sure he wasnt exactly burning it up but bringing on the big lad changed Cork’s tactical approach and let Kerry back into the game. Cussen was absolutely useless in that game and there was no way Masters would have been worse, Id say he would have played himself into the game and scored a couple of points that would have killed Kerry off actually.
Its obvious you have an inferiority complex against Nemo, them being the best club side in Cork for donkeys years. Its been revealed now at least.

Didnt see it and I lost 50 on Armagh as i thought they would have too much for a depleted Monaghan but I think its a myth that they have players to challenge for major honours. Their u21s that won an All Ireland a few years back arent a patch on the lads they are replacing. Similar to perhaps the Limerick u-21 hurling graduates. Armagh have been absolute stink in Croke Park in recent years and Crossmaglen were dogshit in the club final I thought. Aaron Kernan is a fantastic player, Clarke will always be a threat and Mallon is a tidy corner back. McDonnell isnt the force of old though and I dont think they are much cop after that.
Great win for Monaghan that though I heard the game was a disgrace.

They have underperformed in recent years though in fairness - maybe not so much now but definitely under Kernan with the bunch of players he had. When you look at the success Tyrone have had in the same time period it is obvious that there is a chasm of difference between Harte and Kernan as managers.
Now you would be expecting them to beat Monaghan without their best player and make it to the last 8 at least.
One point about Armagh Monaghan, Stevie from Killeavy is a pale shadow of his former self, its not nice to watch.

Ya I got them at 66/1 so I thought it was a very strong bet to lay proposition. That they couldnt even beat Monaghan was pretty poor.
Tyrone have far more skilfull footballers than Armagh though. The likes of McGrane, McGeeney, McEntee…all the Mcs had a lot of miles on the road even before Kernan too over. Think he got the most out of them myself. Only for Tyrone were so negative in that All ireland against Armagh they would have beaten them by about ten points. They were miles better on the day. Even the All Ireland they won, the game should have been over by half time - Kerry were so superior. Kerry completely collapsed in that second half and if memory serves correct had a complete brainfart on the sideline.
