I’d be certain it’s a bureaucratic, rather than scientific, reason
Isn’t the UK only using the one vaccine whereas the EU will be using a few different ones and ensuring that all EU countries get equal access on a per capita basis.

Dunno. Poland announced today their roll out plan for the vaccine, starting from February. Two shots at 21 day internals. Prioritised groups 1) Medical personnel 2) uniforms (cops etc) 3) Older people (to be defined. Pick me!!) . All applications for vaccination to be processed on line.
Meanwhile, we reached the magical one million positive cases today. Trend improving however, seven day rate is approx 230 cases per 100k.
Why would anyone under 50 want to take this? It’s absolute insanity

They don’t have much Moderna but have a good bit of Pfizer and AZ.
